MORRISTOWN, NJ - The Morris Educational Foundation is pleased to announce Part 2 of its 2016-17 Parent Education Series:A Two Event Program:  Is Emotional Intelligence the Key to Success? The program will take place at the Morristown High School Auditorium, 50 Early Street in Morristown

On Tuesday, May 2nd at 7pm, Dr. Maurice Elias, Director of the Social-Emotional Learning Lab at Rutgers University, will discuss the strong role that emotions play in a child’s psychological development with a program entitled Emotionally Intelligent Parenting. Child care will be offered from 7pm - 8:30pm dor this evening program. 

On Wednesday, May 10th at 10am, Erica Hartman (Director of Technology Integration, MSD) will be joined by John Berkowitz (Licensed Clinical Social Worker)to discuss the importance of teaching empathy in today’s digitally saturated culture with a program entitled Empathy in the "Selfie" Age.
