From the hit TV show Glee to the sensational quartet Pentatonix and the film “Pitch Perfect,” the popularity of a capella singing is hitting new highs
The singing group consists of men of all ages, with and without formal music training who love to sing. The group will be performing locally on Sunday March 19 and Saturday April 1.
On March 19, a concert benefiting Employment Horizons will take place at Notre Dame Church, 75 Ridgedale Avenue in Cedar Knolls at 2pm. And then on April 1, the group will perform at 4pm to support the ECLC of New Jersey P.R.I.D.E program for adults with special needs.
The group sings something for everyone to hum along: pop songs, show tunes, calypso and foot-stompers. There is a fee for admission. Tickets are $10 on March 19 and $15 in advance and $20 at the door for the performance on April 1.
