MORRIS TOWNSHIP, NJ - All residents are invited to celebrate 100 years of volunteer fire fighting with the Hillside Hose Company No. 1, Saturday, September 27th from 1:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Lewis Morris Park.

The commemoration party recognizes 100 years of service that Hillside Hose Company No. 1 has given to Morris Township Residents. 

The day will be filled with fun for the whole family. Admission is free. There will be food vendors, a beer truck (for adults over 21 years of age), games, rides, fire fighting demonstrations, entertainment and fireworks.

The Hillside Hose Fire Department was started in 1914 and has been fighting fires ever since.  There are five stations within Morris Township. Hillside Hose is recognized as Station 3 and covers the western area of Morris Township.

All proceeds will go to continuing the mission of Hillside Fire Company No. 1
