MORRIS TOWNSHIP, NJ -  Hurricane Harvey has caused unprecedented damage in and around Houston Texas this week, and many people are left without the basic necessities.

To help the victims, Morris Township Police Chief Mark DiCarlo, Morris Township Fire Chief Jesse Kaar and Morris Township Emergency Management Coordinator Dan Nunn are combining efforts to collect and transport items to aid the victims. Donations will be accepted beginning today, Thursday August 31 at The Morris Township Police Department, 49 Woodland Avenue and the Morris Township Fairchild Firehouse, 2 Burnham Road.

Residents looking to provide much-needed assistance can do so by donating the following items:
Diapers
Baby Formula
Baby Food
Water
Juice/Juice Boxes
Non-Perishable Food
Garbage Bags
Toilet Paper
Paper Plates
Plastic Utensils

 Neither location will be accepting clothing or cash donations.
