MORRISTOWN, NJ - The Morris View Healthcare Center, located in Morristown has received a 5-star rating from the federal Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services. The rating places the county facility in the top 10 percent of nursing homes in the nation for quality care. The rating composed of three key indicators; health inspections, staffing and quality measures.
“We are thrilled that CMS recognized what the residents, families and our staff have been saying all along – that Morris View is the premier post-acute rehabilitation and nursing center in Morris County” said Ben Kurland, CEO of Allaire Healthcare Group, the company that recently took over the management of Morris View and soon will be leasing Morris View. "“It is due to the caring staff and their dedication that we were able to accomplish this lofty feat,”
Allaire Healthcare Group, recently received approval to lease Morris View. The contract calls for Allaire to pay the county $2.3 million annually to lease Morris View, which is a 283-bed county owned and operated nursing home and sub-acute rehabilitation facility located in Morris Township.
“This top rating is a testament to the dedication of the management and staff at Morris View, who continue to provide quality care and commitment to persons in need who are residents of the center,’’ said Morris County Freeholder Director Doug Cabana.
