BRIDGEWATER, NJ - Bridgewater-Raritan softball defeated Morristown, 5-4, Thursday, with pitcher Sammy Mazzagatti pitching a nine-hitter, with four strikeouts and three walks.

Morristown's Molly Murphy and Annalise Sturno each had two hits. Meghan Acampora, Jillian Ching, Ada Patterson, Molly Sibona and Kaeli Zacchini each connected with the bat for a hit but it wasn't enough to over Bridgewater

Bridgewater's Kiersten Farrell hit one double and two RBI, while Sarah Karmazyn had one RBI and one run. Madison Capetta and Katie Winchock each had one double and one run, and Samantha Ward had one RBI and one run.

Morristown was ahead after the first inning, but Bridgewater added three runs in the fourth to hold the lead for the remainder of the game
