CEDAR KNOLLS, NJ – Looking for a place to relax, escape and thrive? A new resort-like neighborhood spa is coming to the neighborhood. On March 11, Spavia, a day spa that provides a luxurious and customized experience is opening its third New Jersey location at 178 East Hanover Avenue in Cedar Knolls.
Spavia was created to change the perception of spas and refute the idea that the luxury experience can only be achieved at a costly price. Spavia is the affordable pathway to wellness, aiming to make a positive impact one guest at a time. VIA in many languages means the road or pathway.
“At Spavia, we enjoy promoting health and wellness among the community,” said David Tittensor, co-owner of Spavia Morristown. “We look forward to seeing the transformation guests experience from the moment they enter our spa to the positive impact and difference when they leave feeling rejuvenated and recharged.”
According to Tittensor, every guest is offered high-quality, customized, high-end treatments and affordable spa services in a relaxing and welcoming atmosphere.
After 28 years in corporate America Tittensor and his wife Charlene were ready for a change. They looked for a business they could open together and they fell in love with the Spavia business model and day spa environment.
“It’s been great using our business to connect and become one with the community. We’ve been able to sponsor several local 5k races, schools, non-profits and participate in career fairs,” said Charlene Tittensor. “We want the community to see us as a place of refuge, where they can count on us to provide them with a space to be revived.”
During the official Grand Opening, on Sunday, April 2, the couple will be hosting a grand opening event from 1-5 p.m. Complimentary beverages and pastries as well as massage and hand treatments will be offered. In addition, attendees can meet skin care vendors and receive a Spavia swag bag.
