MORRISTOWN, NJ - No. 10 seed Morristown rallied to beat no. 23 Parsippany Hills today,   6-5 to advance in the Morris County Baseball Tournament.

Parsippany Hills led Morristown 2-1 after the first inning. Andrew Mandel highlighted the 3rd inning with his steal of home. Two RBI's  added additional runs, finishing the inning at 4-2.

Parsippany battled back and scored one run in the fourth without ever regaining the lead. Morristown scored 2 runs in the 6th. Parsippany seemed to gain momentum as they scored 2 runs in the 7th.

Jim Nodoro scored two runs for Morristown while Sam Cazimoski, Chase Champi, Andrew Mendel, and Joe Pisciotto each chipped in one run each. Mat Lopez who pitched 5 innings earned the win, while Morristown Sophomore Matt Mahoney came in to close the game. Runners were left on base as the Colonials claimed the victory.

Morristown will travel to face no. 7 seed Pequannock in the next round.
