MORRISTOWN, NJ - The Morristown Police Department is holding a Bike Auction in the parking lot of Town Hall this morning, June 28 at 10am. The Department will auction off 21 bikes; both adult and children's sizes that have been found abandoned throughout town.

The bikes are in good condition and will be on display from 9am -10am.  The minimum bid is $1.

"The auction is a yearly event or as necessary depending on the number of recovered bicycles," stated Lt. Matthew Rawding. "It is covered under the NJ Attorney Generals guidelines that found bicycles must be auctioned after a minimum retention of six months.

The auction will begin promptly at 10am.
