MORRISTOWN, NJ - The Morris County boys lacrosse tournament is a fast moving affair.
After defeating 12th seed Pequannock by a 13-4 count on Tuesday afternoon, the fifth-seeded Morristown High laxsters have a quick turnaround--and a much tougher test--in the next round. They'll travel out to Long Valley to face West Morris in the quarterfinals tomorrow, and will look to repeat the same success the girls team had against the Highlanders in the same stage.
A quartet of Colonials scored two goals to share scoring honors. Andrew Chilson, Thomas Ferrara, Brad Greik, and Connor Schwerdt all found the back of the net twice in this game, while Kyle Beyer, Joe Doherty, Jason Gaccione, and Drew Shandlay also added goals for the Colonials.
Morristown now has an overall record of 12-1 on the season.
