MORRISTOWN, NJ – The seeds are out for the Morris County boys soccer tournament, and Morristown High’s club will have to navigate through out it entirely away from home.
The Colonials were awarded the No. 18 seed in the tournament out of 26 entrants, and will travel up 287 to face Pequannock, seeded fifteenth in the field, this weekend in preliminary round action up in Pompton Plains.
Should Morristown get by the Group 2 Golden Panthers, they would travel a shorter distance to face NJAC-United rival and second-seeded Mendham in the Round of 16 on Sunday, October 1. If Brian Kiernan’s squad advances to the quarterfinals, they would likely face Parsippany Hills or Montville there.
