MORRISTOWN, NJ – The Colelge of St. Elizabeth in Morristown has recently named an Oak Knoll School of the Holy Child alumna to the Board of Trustees.
Dr. Allison Adams ’81, a Madison dentist who earned a doctor of medicine degree in dentistry from the college after graduating from Oak Knoll, began her board term July 1, according the College of St. Elizabeth.
In announcing the selection, Helen J. Streubert, president of the College of St. Elizabeth, lauded Dr. Adams for her continued contributions to the college by mentoring prospective dentistry students.
“Dr. Adams brings a unique experience to the board,” Streubert said. “Her career in health care and her previous board experience at an independent school will benefit the College as we move forward.”
Dr. Adams, who previously served as a board member of the Oak Knoll Alumnae/i Association, has practiced dentistry for more than 25 years and has been frequently named as one of the state’s top dentists in New Jersey Monthly Magazine.
“Allison will be a great addition to their board, and we applaud Allison for her dedication, spirit and hard work that she brings to every endeavor she undertakes,” said Cynthia Prewitt, director of alumnae/I relations at Oak Knoll School. “Named as one of the top dentists of New Jersey, Allison is a well-regarded professional and a committed member of the community.”
Oak Knoll School of the Holy Child is an independent, Catholic school, coeducational in elementary school from kindergarten through grade six; and all-girls in middle and high school from grades seven through 12.
