MORRISTOWN, NJ - Do you love Morristown? Morristown lovers are urged to Vote for Downtown Morristown in New Jersey Monthly Magazine’s first ever "Downtown Showdown."

On Sept. 1, the publication began accepting votes in its online bracket-style competition, which pits 16 New Jersey downtowns against each other.

“Picking our favorite downtowns was not easy,”NJ Monthly editors wrote. “We started with a list of 25 towns and polled our Facebook followers. With their input, we visited the top contenders and checked them out for factors such as ambience, amenities, dining, shopping, cultural attractions and parking. Once we chose our 16 favorites, we paired them for this poll by population, from the largest (Jersey City vs. Hoboken) to the smallest (Cape May vs. Lambertville).”
