DENVILLE, NJ - Morris County Vocational School District's Academy for Performing Arts Dance honored three students with prestigious dance awards. Morristown resident Fiona Quirk was among the three honored. Along with Quirk, Cailey Scholts of Randolph and Kylie Blake of Jefferson received the recognition.

Quirk received theArtistic Merit, Leadership and Academic Achievement Award on the State Level. She also received the Student Award for Artistic Excellence and Leadership in Dance as part of the New Jersey Governor’s Awards in Arts Education. 

The New Jersey Governor’s Awards in Arts Education will  hold a Virtual Awards Ceremony on Saturday, May 22, 2021.  Awarded students will work with dance educator and Dance NJ Board Member Claudine Ranieri to create the virtual dance performances for the program.
