CHATHAM, NJ - The Morristown High girls volleyball team was involved in a classic, three-set match on Monday afternoon.

Unfortunately for the county seaters, though, it was them who drew the short end of the stick. NJAC-United rival Chatham came back to win the second and third sets by razor thin, 25-23, 25-23 margins to win the match by a 2-1 score on its home court. The Colonials—who dominated the first set with a 25-13 showing—fell to 2-8 overall on the season and 1-1 in United play.
 
Charlotte Lassarat, Olivia Romano, and Sydney Champi finished off three kills apiece for Morristown, while Caroline Bailey led the visitors with 4 assists.
 
Bailey, Romano, Julia Lange, and Shelby Reed all dug out six kill attempts apiece for the Maroon & White.
