MORRISTOWN, NJ - The words “back to back” are becoming close to a reality for the Morristown field hockey team.

Following Wednesday afternoon’s 3-0 victory over Phillipsburg in the NJSIAA North 1, Group 4 tournament, the Colonials are one step away from realizing that dream.

Indira Summerville’s hat trick accounted for the scoring, as the top-seeded Colonials easily cruised past the Stateliners and advanced to host Randolph in Friday’s all-Morris County sectional final on the turf. In a regular season meeting on October 4, Morristown notched a close, 1-0 decision over the Rams.

Morristown—now 18-3 on the campaign after the victory—received assists from Olivia Graham, Callie Sundin, and Samantha Hessels.
