WEST ORANGE, NJ – While they will still have plenty of work to do and little margin for error to get there, the Morristown High football team’s playoff chances increased dramatically last night.
The Colonials went into West Orange and came away with an 18-9 victory last night, raising their record to 2-3 on the season.
With East Orange and Livingston—two old Iron Hills Conference-Iron Division rivals for many years—still on the schedule, the Colonials will have a great chance to reach 4-4 and have a chance at qualifying in the North 1, Group 5 playoff bracket.
Morristown will be underdogs on the road next week, as they travel to historic Woodman Field to take on Montclair in a Saturday afternoon tilt.
