MORRISTOWN, NJ – The Morristown Colonials fought hard through Saturday's heavy rain and gusty winds but came up short against a very strong Roxbury High School football team; loosing 38-7.

Cam Boswell threw a  53 yard touchdown pass to Morristown's Ricky Lorenzo to put the Colonials on the board. However, touchdowns by Grant Dixon, Tommy Miller and Tucker Voelbel of Roxbury, in the first period allowed the Gaels offense to take off.

The Colonials, overpowered by Roxbury, struggled for the remaining periods of the game. Despite tackles by Sami Cazimoski, Samari Robinson and Jesse Unger, Morristown couldn't stop the powerful Roxbury team.

Morristown will play Mendham away on October 10 at 1pm.
