DENVILLE, NJ – Thursday night produced another sweep for Morristown High School’s fencing program.
 
The Colonials boys team grinded out a 15-12 victory over Morris Catholic, while the girls squad doubled up the Crusaders by a 18-9 margin. George LaTorre’s boys squad now sports a 6-2 record after this result, while the girls are now 6-1.
 
The boys match was tied at nine-apiece after the Sabre and Foil events, but the Colonials pulled away with a 6-3 margin in the Epee events to secure the victory.
 
On the girls side, senior Mary Prachtauser swept away all of her events in the Sabre, while Samantha Hessels also went 3-0 in Foil competition.
 
Morristown will next be in action next Wednesday, when they will face Morris Knolls in a dual match
