MORRISTOWN, NJ – The Morristown High School girls basketball team earned the eighth seed in the upcoming Morris County Tournament.

The Colonials will host 25th-seeded Parsippany in the preliminary round of the tournament. The winner will play the winner of ninth-seeded Morris Catholic and 24th- seeded Roxbury in the first round.

The top six seeds received an automatic bid to the first round.

The quarterfinals are scheduled for Feb. 15 at Morris Knolls. The semifinals will be Feb. 21 at the County College of Morris and the championship game will be on Feb. 28 at CCM. Undefeated Montville earned the top seed followed by Chatham, Randolph, Villa Walsh and Jefferson to round out the top five.
