CHATHAM, NJ - The Morristown High School girls basketball team defeated Chatham; 54-28 for their third straight win since losing to High Point.  The Lady Colonials have improved their record to 8-1 with the Thursday night win. 

Morristown came out strong against Chatham leading the first quarter by 5. The Colonials were up by 15 at the half and 19 by the third. Sophomore Elizabeth Strambi lead the game with 21 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists. Abigail Schubiger added 14 points, 7 rebounds and 3 steals. Freshman Nicole Ferrara scored 6 points while Jian Zabalerio and Kayla Bush scored 4 apiece. 

Up next for the Lady Colonials is a home game against Pope John XXIII on January 19.  Tip off for Tuesday's game is at 7pm.
