After team bonding and roasting ‘smores on Friday night, Morristown defeated Jefferson by a score of 14-3 on Saturday morning.
 
Morristown’s team of middies clearly controlled the game with a 14-4 advantage over Jefferson in draw controls. 
 
Morristown’s defensive squad of Linnea Begley, Grace Godfrey, Kei Murphy and Mackenzie Sundin did a fine job of protecting goalkeeper Amelia Drake who logged 6 saves during the contest.
 
 
Morristown’s offense was led by Callie Sundin with 5 goals and 3 assists.  Nicole Ferrara scored 3 times while Victoria Ferrara had 2 goals and an assist. Annika Begley, and Sarah Grace Plott each scored twice.
 
Morristown will be advancing to the quarter final round against either West Morris or Randolph next week.
