MORRISTOWN, NJ - The Morristown High School girls' lacrosse team defeated Hopewell Valley, 15-11, in the North Jersey Group 3 Sectional Final. This is the first time in school history that MHS has captured the title.
Meghan Siverson's 7 goals along with 5 goals from Casey O'Brien secured the win for Morristown. The home game marked a second achievement for the team. O'Brien scored her 100th point for the season in yesterday's game. Maddy Heher, Allie Ferrara and Annika Begley each chipped in 1 goal apiece. Aidan Cage scored 6 goals for Hopewell Valley but it wasn't enough to stop the Lady Colonials.
The Lady Colonials advance to the Group Final which takes place this Saturday at 10am at Kean University.
