MORRISTOWN – If the Morristown High School girls soccer team is going to make a run in the Morris County Tournament, its more often than not going to happen away from Harter Road.

Despite holding a 3-2 record, the Colonials were given the No. 12 seed in the 2018 edition of the MCT on Wednesday night. They will face 21st-seed Montville in a preliminary battle this weekend, and should they advance, will travel to face fifth-seeded Mendham in a Round of 16 tilt in the last weekend of September.

Morristown, which defeated Montville 4-0 on Tuesday, has had six different players score goals this season. Amanda Gillespie and Grace Thomas have led the way with two apiece.
