MORRISTOWN – With the tournament layered in a double-bye format, it’s only going to take two dual meet victories for the  undefeated Morristown girls swimming team to win a sectional title.
They are halfway there.
Top-seeded Morristown parlayed two relay victories with double-wins from Emily Skilton, Grace Miller, and Nicole Barkemeyer to knock off West Orange in the semifinals of the NJSIAA North 1, Group A chase in the hometown pool, 107-63. The 12-0 winners will swim for the title on Thursday afternoon at Passaic Tech, where they’ll face the winner of the other semi between Montclair and Ridgewood.
Skilton brought home the bacon in the 50 (27.69) and 100 (1:02.75) freestyle sprint races, while Miller took home the longer distance free races at 200 and 500 meters. Barkemeyer won titles in a pair of specialty events, the 100 backstroke and the 200 individual medley.
