MORRISTOWN – The Morristown High School girls tennis team fell to 2-4 on the season following a 3-2 loss to Chatham on Sept. 11.

Grace Starcher won a 6-4, 6-4 match at first singles for the Colonials. Morristown’s Maddie Siegel cruised to a 6-0, 6-0 win at second singles. Chatham picked up wins at
third singles, first doubles and second doubles.

Morristown defeated West Morris, 4-1, on Sept. 10. Starcher dropped just one game in a 6-1, 6-0 result at first singles, while Siegel also saw little trouble in a 6-1, 6-0 victory at
second singles.

The Colonials also swept at the doubles flights. At first doubles, Alex Fisher and Anne Merritt defeated the West Morris pair of Brooke Babinec and Haley Bishop, 6-3, 6-2,
while Kirsten Brutans and Madison Silver won 7-5, 6-0 at second doubles.
