MORRISTOWN, NJ - In light of recent events, schools are practicing lock down drills so students, teachers and administrators are prepared during an emergency situation.  Morristown High School and Frelinghuysen Middle School announced that practice lock down drills have been completed at both schools.  FMS completed their drill on Friday March 23 and the high school ran their drill today at 9:15am.

The drill is part of the Morris School District's monthly drill protocol. This month's scheduled drill was took place during class changes so that students and staff are prepared for all possible scenarios, stated the district.

Tapinto has reached out to the Superintendents Office regarding drills at the elementary schools within the district.
