MORRISTOWN, NJ - In what has become something of a rite of spring, the Morristown High School baseball team has once again garnered a high seed in the Morris County Tournament.

The program’s pursuit for its first county title since Brandon Gonnella electrified the county baseball circuit in 2010 will start as the second-seeded squad with a 5-2 record.
The Colonials will first be in action on April 28, as they will face the winner of the 15/18 matchup between Jefferson and Hanover Park. That preliminary round game will be played this weekend.
Should Morristown advance, they will likely have a quarterfinal showdown with No. 7 seed Roxbury in the quarterfinals.
