MORRISTOWN, NJ - Morristown showed a true team effort with a well distributed attack by defeating Westfield 12-8 under the lights at FDU in their home opener.

The offensive production was led by Callie Sundin with five goals and three assists. Nicole Ferrara scored two goals and had an assist. Sarah Grace Plott scored two goals while Annika Begley logged one goal and two assists in the contest. Rookie Freshmen Sarah Chupak and Ava Plott each tallied their first career goal. Shelby Clarke added an assist while Victoria Ferrara also contributed to the attack during the game.

The Morristown defense was led by Amelia Drake who had numerous saves in goal throughout the game. At the same time, defenders Linnea Begley, Kei Murphy, Grace Godfrey and Tara Goldhirsch teamed up to keep the Westfield attack at bay.

Morristown looks to continue in this positive direction as they head to IHA on Saturday
