MORRISTOWN NJ, – If seeds are the standard for naming a Morris County Tournament favorite, the Morristown girls lacrosse team are in the driver’s seat.
Evan Mager’s Colonials earned the top spot of 23 entrants at last night’s seeding meeting, and will launch tournament play next Saturday.
Morristown, which dropped to 8-2 after a close loss to Mendham on Friday afternoon, will play the winner of sixteenth-seeded Jefferson and seventeenth seeded Park Regional next weekend.
Should the Colonials advance, they will face the winner of the 8-9 game, Mount Olive vs. Morris Knolls a few days later.
