MORRISTOWN, NJ - The votes are in and Hoboken has beat out Morristown for Best Downtown.

The New Jersey Planning Association was looking for the best downtown in Northern New Jersey. Voting was open from August 22nd and continued through September 26th.

Morristown was nominated and residents were asked to vote for their favorite downtown.

APA-NJ announced the winner on Monday, September 29th. Hoboken has 2,576 votes and Morristown had 2,206 votes.

Hoboken will receive a place on APA-NJ's Great Places Map and the right to say that  they have "the best downtown".
