Morristown, NJ, - The Morris Educational Foundation is pleased to announce that Morristown Medical Center, part of Atlantic Health System, will be the Headline Sponsor of its eleventh annual talent show, Morristown ONSTAGE, again this year! The event will be held on February 28, 2018 at 7pm at the Mayo Performing Arts Center in Morristown, New Jersey.

“The collaboration between Morristown Medical Center, the Morris Educational Foundation and the Morris School District is innovative and very successful. We partner with Atlantic Health System to educate our community’s children and their families about leading healthy, active lives. The partnership includes mentoring in the health professions, a teen focus group on healthy teens and Project Fit at the primary schools,” said Debbie Sontupe, Executive Director of the Morris Educational Foundation.
Mill Creek Residential, Beyer Automotive Group, The Crawford Home Selling Team, Keller Williams, and George & Michele Becker are serving as the event’s Show Sponsors. Century 21 Stores and the Seiko Corporation are the Designer Sponsors of the show and Provident Bank will continue this year as the Prize Sponsor. Lindamood-Bell Learning Processes will sponsor the Red Carpet Video and Bressler Amery Ross and Mark Livingston of Merrill Lynch and will sponsor the Audience Choice Award, an opportunity for the live audience to pick one of the show winners. Another special feature of the evening will be a preview performance sponsored by The Croonquist Group of Janney Montgomery Scott of the Morristown High School Theater Department’s spring muscial, Anything Goes. Morristown Animal Hospital and Wiley, Malehorn, Sirota and Raynes have joined as Partner Sponsors of the MEF.

There is a $1,000 cash prize for 1st place in the 19 and over age category, another $1,000 cash prize for 1st place in the 18 and under category, and a $500.00 Audience Choice winner which be selected that night via text voting in the theater. Four distinguished judges from the arts profession will judge the competition. This year’s Master of Ceremonies and host of the show will be Morristown-resident Tara Bernie, an Emmy-nominated senior producer.

Last year, the event raised over $126,000 for the Morris Educational Foundation.
