MORRISTOWN, NJ –  A CANstruction exhibition, benefiting local food banks will be on display from October 26 through November 2 at the Morris Museum.

Teams of architects and designers from the New Jersey Chapter of the American Institute of Architects (AIA-NJ) and their local AIA Newark and Suburban (AIA NS) section, will buid creative structures made entirely out of canned food. The structures are built on October 26 during a twelve hour "build day".

This year's 'build day' will focus on Childhood Toys. Teams will interpret their favorite games and toys in the form of can sculptures. Upon deconstruction on November 2, the cans are donated to the Community Food Bank of New Jersey where they will be distributed to various food banks.

CANstruction events have raised over 40 million punds of food to local food banks since 1992.
