MORRISTOWN, NJ -  The free parking season kicks off this week in Morristown.

Beginning Friday December 15 through Monday December 25, the Morristown Parking Authority, in partnership with the Mayo Performing Arts Center and the Town of Morristown will be offering free two hours parking in downtown Morristown for the holiday season.

The suspension of parking fees as traditionally been limited to metered parking spots, but shoppers will have three options this holiday season. Visitors will now be able to park at metered spaces free of charge as well as the parking lot on Oak Street & Maple Avenue between the hours of 10am and 4pm, Monday through Friday until December 22.  On the weekends, shoppers can use the Ann & Bank Street parking Garage, free of charge, throughout the month of December. The garage has entrances off Bank Street and Schuyler Place.
