MORRISTOWN, NJ - The owner of a missing cat has posted a message on a neighborhood watch website, which reads:

"Mia, my dark grey tabby is still missing (Cooperfied Way near Park Avenue). She is an extreme diabetic and has missed 8 insulin shots since Sunday evening. At this stage, she may be experiencing the diabetic problems which can include weakness, listlessness, lack of coordination, convulsions, and coma. Left untreated, it can be fatal. If you fin Mia and she is in this condition, you can save her life by rubbing honey, corn syrup or sugar water on her gums. And then please immediately call me at 973-267-0112. I greatly appreciate everyone looking around your garage, yard, under the plants and decks for my little sweetheart"

If you live in the area, please take a moment and look around for Mia.
