MORRISTOWN, NJ - The second annual Wellness: Mo-Town was held on the lawn at Vail Mansion. The event took place Sunday, Oct. 5.
Many wellness providers and non-profit organizations educated the community on medicine, nutrition, fitness, acupuncture, yoga, and environmental and social awareness.
In addition, Wellness: Mo-Town provided free health screenings, spa and wellness treatments, eco-friendly vendors, fitness and dance classes, music, and activities.
Marisa Sweeney RD, registered dietician and owner of Be Well Morristown, said, “As wellness professionals, we need to come together because we are all working on the same bodies.”
Wellness: Mo-Town was a free event, however, all proceeds and donations were donated to Sustainable Morristown and Bike and Walk Morristown.
Sustainable Morristown is a non-profit organization that works to ensure the economic, environmental and social well-being of Morristown residents.
Bike and Walk Morristown is an organization that promotes bicycle and pedestrian friendly initiatives for transportation, recreation, and wellness in the Morristown area.
