MORRISTOWN, NJ - The Town of Morristown is seeking a volunteer to represent Morristown on the Lackawanna Coalition Board. The Coalition is an independent non-profit organization that advocates for better service on the Morris & Essex and Montclair Boonton rail lines operated by the New Jersey Transit.

Founded in 1979 by Millburn commuters, the Coalition consists of "principal members" from towns and counties along the rail lines. Most members became interested in joining the organization ether as riders or commuters. All are interested in the improving the quality of the rail service.

The Coalition meets every 4th Monday at 7pm at Millburn Town Hall, Second Floor Conference Room.
