MORRISTOWN, NJ - On Friday June 16, the TD Bank located at 217 South Street was robbed. Authorities have announced that Zachary Zingale of Morristown has been arrested on charges related to the bank robber.

At approximately 10am, a male entered the bank, demanded money, threatened the use of a gun and then fled the scene in a vehicle, stated police. Money was taken during the incident. Zingale, a 30 year old from Morristown was located near the bank and tried to flee the area on foot but was taken into custody, according to authorities.

Zingale was charged with one count of Robbery, a crime of the first degree, one count of Theft, a crime of the third degree, and one count of Resisting Arrest, a crime of the third degree.  Zingale was remanded to the Morris County Correctional Facility on a warrant-complaint in accordance with the Criminal Justice Reform Act.

The charges and allegations are merely accusations and the defendant is presumed innocent unless, and until, proven guilty.
