MORRISTOWN, NJ - Santa and his magnificent reindeer will travel to Morristown on Sunday November 27 to kick off the holiday season. The Morristown Partnership is  sponsoring The Christmas Festival at the Morristown Green from 5:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. Hot chocolate and cookies will be provided by Hyatt Regency Morristown. There will also be performances by the Morristown High School Theatre Program and Morris Choral Society.

The festivities begin with the arrival of Santa, on the roof of Century 21,  followed by the lighting of the Morristown Green. Santa visits and photos will begin at 6:30pm

The history of the Morristown green states that "for the past 100 years, generations of residents and visitors have come to the heart of downtown Morristown to enjoy the magic of the Christmas season. It began in 1913 with a small group of festive volunteers lighting a single star atop one tree on the Morristown Green. Since that time, this tradition has spread holiday cheer to countless families with its addition of a Santa House, holiday crafts, entertainment and seasonal decor including stunning lamppost wreaths throughout town and over 150,000 dazzling LED lights on The Morristown Green."
