MORRISTOWN, NJ -  Grow it Green Morristown is taking on a new project here in town. The unused corner of the garden will be transformed into a beautiful community space, announced organizers.

On Saturday, November 3 from 9am - 1pm, community members are invited to take part in the Early Street Community Garden Mural Project. As part of a grant from the Morris Arts, Grow it Green Morristown will convert the abandoned platform into a vibrant mural, organizers stated. The organization hopes to transform the space into "a welcoming area where we can host free community events such as yoga, music and arts events, and children’s education programming for all to enjoy".

The mural is being created by local artist Casey O'Brien.
