MORRIS TOWNSHIP, NJ — In its September “Best Places to Live” issue, arriving in subscribers’ mailboxes this week, New Jersey Monthly magazine ranked Morris Township No. 34 among its “Top 100 Towns in New Jersey.”
In compiling the list, researchers at Leflein Associates, an independent research firm, considered five categories to represent the quality of life in New Jersey’s municipalities: home values, property taxes, crime rate, school performance and a “lifestyle factor,” the magazine says in its September issue.
Due to a lack of statistically significant data, towns with populations under 1,500 were dropped from the survey, it said.
Its complete ranking of 513 towns will be posted on NJMonthly.com after Aug. 26, it said.
