MORRISTOWN, NJ - Beginning Monday July 31, New Jersey Transit will offer express bus service from the Morristown train station to Port Authority Bus Terminal.
Buses will run every 30 minutes from 7am - 9am.
NJ Transit’s new busing schedule in Madison will give later-morning commuters a more direct route to New York City in the midst of the “Summer of Hell,” which shut down all Midtown Direct service on the Morris & Essex line, July 10-Sept. 1, for track repairs at Penn Station.
After Sept. 1, both Boxcar service and NJ Transit will terminate these services as regular train schedules commence.
