MORRIS TOWNSHIP, NJ— National rankings firm Niche has announced its 2017 list of “Best Places to Live,” and it ranks Morris Township No. 18 in the state of New Jersey.

Niche ranked Chatham Township No. 19, Mendham No. 30, Randolph No. 36, Harding Township No. 48, Chester Township No. 49, Parsippany Troy Hills No. 56.

The company gives Morris Township an overall grade of A+ which includes A+ for its public schools, a B for housing, an A+ in “good for families,” a B+ for crime and safety, an B+ for nightlife, a B for diversity, a B+ for jobs, and an A for health and wellness. “The goal of our Best Places to Live rankings is to provide accurate, comparable and thorough evaluations of places,” Niche says on its website. “To do so, we’ve collected and analyzed dozens of rankings factors from federal and local government datasets. We’ve combined those with proprietary Niche data and community reviews from each area.”
