MORRISTOWN, NJ — In its newly released 2019 “Best Schools” list, national educational research and rankings firm Niche has placed The Morris School District No. 63, among public schools in the state. Millburn ranked No. 1 and Princeton secured the No. 2 spot. Locally, the School District of the Chathams is No. 6, Mountain Lakes School District is No. 9, Madison is No. 30 and Parsippany is No. 37.

Niche gave Morristown public schools an overall letter grade of A+. The schools got an A+ for academics, A+ for teachers, A for clubs and activities, an A+ for college prep, and an A for diversity.

Niche said that its new release analyzes 3,904 private schools, 83,542 public schools and 10,758 school districts weighting factors like academics, culture and diversity, teachers and millions of student and parent reviews.
