MORRISTOWN, NJ - nourish.NJ will be moving to a new location, announced the organization. Known for offering food, housing, and medical, social and educational services to the community, the organization will be leaving the Episcopal Church of the Redeemer after 25 years and moving to 36 Sussex Avenue in Morristown.

"This new facility will allow us to expand our reach and meet the tremendous increase in demand for services caused by COVID-19", said organization officials.

Since March, the organization has seen a 30 percent increase in the demand for their food programs.

"Each week we safely distribute 2,000 takeaway meals and deliver necessary supplies to people in need including quarantining families, the elderly in senior facilities, those in lower-income housing, and others unable to come to our site. Our Outreach Team has not missed a beat, remotely providing mental health and additional services:, they said. The facility at 36 Sussex gives nourish.NJ the opportunity and the capacity to better address the problems created by COVID-19. We’re all very excited for this ambitious new chapter, and we look forward to sharing it with you!"

The organization will hold a Facebook Live event on Friday September 18 at 2pm to celebrate their move.
