MORRIS TOWNSHIP, NJ - The action-adventure film The Goonies, will be shown on Saturday October 25, 2014 at 7:00 p.m.  This movie will conclude The Morris Township Department of Parks and Recreation free Family Movie Night program.

 The movie will be shown on the giant outdoor screen at Ginty Field, next to the Morris Township Municipal Complex on Woodland Avenue.  

"From the imagination of Steven Spielberg, The Goonies plunges a band of small heroes into a swashbuckling surprise-around-every corner quest beyond their wildest dreams. Following a mysterious treasure map into a spectacular underground realm of twisting passages, outrageous booby-traps and a long-lost pirate ship full of golden doubloons, the kids race to stay one step ahead of a family of bumbling bad guys…and a mild mannered monster with a face only a mother could love."

The whole family is invited to attend so bring  your warm blankets, lawn chairs, and snacks to enjoy this free big screen outdoor movie. 

Summit Soundz will be performing pre-show spooky musical requests beginning at 6:00 pm

Hot chocolate will be served for all in the Ginty Gazebo. 

The Morris Township Fire Department and Woodland Fire Company will light up the sky with a Halloween Bonfire at Ginty Field after the movie.
