Free blood pressure screenings, complimentary first aid kits and low cost on site eye exams are just a few of the many offerings awaiting Parsippany residents at a community-wide health fair to be held on Saturday, April 18 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Participants will be offered a wide variety of free services, ranging from glucose and cancer screenings to helpful tips on fire prevention, first aid, CPR and disaster preparedness.  Participating exhibitors include:

-Parsippany-Troy Hills Health DepartmentFree blood pressure screenings, literature and advice about EMS, pest control, limited free first aid kits;

Morristown HospitalFree glucose screenings for residents 18 years and older, information about cancer screenings;

Faster ERLiterature and advice about immunizations; fire prevention and home safety

American Red CrossInformation and advice about first aid, CPR and disaster preparedness;

American Cancer SocietyInformation about cancer screenings;

St. Clare’s Hospital:  Mental health screenings, breast cancer screenings, thyroid screenings, dietician consultations;

Optical Academy:  Discounted eye exams and eyewear ($30/exam, $ 29+/glasses).  Reservation necessary.


The event, sponsored by the Parsippany-Troy Hills Education Association, will be held rain or shine at the PAL building, 33 Baldwin Road in Parsippany.
