MORRISTOWN, NJ -  Portions of James Street will be closed on Tuesday April 11 and Wednesday April 12 for road resurfacing. The section from South Street to Ogden Place will be closed to vehicles between 7am and 4pm on Tuesday and Wednesday due to a roadway milling and paving project.

The Morristown Police Department is urging motorists to allow extra time when traveling through this area and if possible find alternate routes. Police will be stationed at closure points to assist residents. Residents will be able to access James Street Tuesday afternoon and overnight and will close again Wednesday morning at 7am.

The project is expected to be completed Wednesday by 4pm.
