MORRISTOWN, NJ July 19, 2019 – Preschool Advantage, a Morristown-based non-profit organization, announces the appointment of Judy Pierce as a Board Trustee.
Pierce, a Morristown resident, has been involved with Preschool Advantage for the last four years and has served on a number of committees including the Child Committee and the School Committee. She co-chaired the Turning Leaves Fundraiser for two years, and has also been involved with other fundraisers for Preschool Advantage, completely immersing herself in the organization.
Before becoming involved with Preschool Advantage, Judy taught Kindergarten and was on the Admission team for The Peck School in Morristown for over 40 years. After retirement, Judy reached out to Preschool Advantage Board President, Adrienne Kirby and began her career at Preschool Advantage.
“I believe in the mission. I realize and understand the need for young children to have a preschool experience. I hope my involvement will add to the growth of the organization, and I will continue to promote, give my time and help advance Preschool Advantage’s mission”, says Pierce.
A longtime resident of Morristown, Pierce also volunteers at Morristown Memorial Hospital and teaches classes at the Greater Morristown YMCA. She has previously served on the Greater Morristown YMCA Board, the Cornerstone Board, and on the Morristown Field Club Board of Governors, where she was President. In her free time, Pierce enjoys playing tennis, golf, and traveling.
