EAST BRUNSWICK, NJ – Families, friends, survivors, and others who have felt the impact of pancreatic cancer will be gathering in Princeton this Sunday, October 30, as the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network’s annual PurpleLight event takes place at Hinds Plaza, 85 Witherspoon Street. During the PurpleLight event, there will be a ceremony that includes a reading of names, honoring survivors and remembering those we've lost to pancreatic cancer. In addition, there will be speakers from the Pancreatic Cancer community to speak about advances in research.

PurpleLight is a free event and open to the public.  Whether you have lost a loved one to this disease, are a pancreatic cancer survivor, family member, friend, or member of the community, you are invited to join the hundreds of others who will be there in memory or inspiration to those they loved and lost.

The event will have registration commencing at 5:30 pm, with the actual ceremony commencing around 6:15, as the sun sets. Please allow time for parking.  Hinds Plaza is on Witherspoon Street, adjacent to the Princeton Public Library.
